FAUSTINA IPL Guides is published by LaboTest Ltd, the UK company that owns the FAUSTINA® brand and sells the devices. We say that in the first sentence because a comparison site that hides its owner is lying to you by omission, and this category has enough of that already.

The editorial rules this site follows
- Suitability before selling. IPL does not suit everyone. Every guide states who it is NOT for (deepest skin tones, red/grey/light blonde hair, pregnancy) before any product link.
- Competitors get credit where they win. Our comparison pages name where the Ulike Air 3, Philips Lumea 9000 and Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 are genuinely better. Specs carry the date they were checked and link to the source so you can verify.
- Independent voices are linked, not paraphrased into oblivion. Penn Smith's unsponsored review, Natural Kaos's protocol page, and real Reddit threads are linked directly, including the criticism.
- No medical claims. These devices are consumer aesthetic devices. Where a condition like rosacea comes up, we describe what light can do for what you see, and tell you to talk to a GP or dermatologist about the condition itself.
- Real limits stated plainly. A home device is weaker than a clinic machine. Coarse hair responds slowly. Results take weeks. Any page that forgets this, tell us.
